Art by Poetry
Welcome to my creative highlights, musings, and fiercest attempts to avoid waitressing, catalogued for your convenience.

Paintings & Co.
You know that immense feeling of awe you feel when you see a beautiful photorealistic painting made of a person or a landscape? Yeah, I don't make those.
My style is Abstract Expressionism. I use vivid colours and bold mark-making. My pieces hold representational value because I think that you get to decide what my work means to you as much as I do. Okay, maybe slightly less than I do (hey, I did all the work).
Sculpture and Space
I like to explain Assemblage (the 3-dimensional version of Collage using found objects) to my friends as the kind of art a Raccoon would make if it could. It is also the kind of art that I make.
Our immediate surroundings reveal so much to us while influencing how we feel in that moment. Working with sculpture and space interests me because it allows me to abuse- I mean use that power to create more impactful experiences for my audience.

Digital Works
Being born in the 21st Century came with benefits; vaccines, Adele, and access to new digital spaces. This new medium spared my clothes from paint stains and gave me incredible emotional resilience through accidentally working on the wrong layer. Repeatedly.
Working on digital formats let me explore an artistic identity outside of my understanding of physical media. It let me create bespoke works with a different application of artistic intent.
